Andre had been known to Love Russia for many years and was happy to go to college to learn mechanical skills. His first few months were blighted when he discovered that the college hostel accommodation he was given had no full body washing facilities and was in a dreadful state of repair. Love Russia has been able to build shower facilities using the fifty/fifty system with the authorities and is seeking other ways to improve accommodation for the students.
Facts: Accommodation can vary widely depending on the type of college and its whereabouts. Love Russia is committed to helping the accommodation for orphans who have no other home to go to, enabling them to live comfortably through extra years of study. Laundries, sewing machines, beds, showers and toilets have all been supplied to various locations. Specialist teaching equipment and skill sharing are also in demand.
