This musical is set in a toyshop where the owner finds a discarded Russian Doll on his doorstep. At night (when the toys come alive they rehearse for their big performance at the Palace where the Princess will choose one of them as her Christmas present. They are dismissive of the battered and soiled Russian Doll. At the performance at the palace there are many surprises in store for everyone.
