WHERE THERE'S A WILL – THERE'S A WAY

Everyone knows from many television adverts that making a will, whatever your age, is a sensible and positive way of protecting all those you love from legal battles when you die.  Another reason for making a will is that you can leave a Legacy to your favourite cause(s) [Love Russia] and continue making a difference to the lives of countless orphans and needy children in projects aided by Love Russia. There are ways to specify both the amount you leave and the project(s) you want to continue helping.
There are several ways of doing this –

1. You can leave a fixed amount of money either just to Love Russia or for a specific purpose. Please talk to the office about options for this.  This is called a Pecuniary Legacy.

2. The second option, known as a Residuary Legacy, is when you leave a percentage or share of your estate.  This type of gift means that however your financial circumstances change the proportion that each person receives from your estate remains the same. It is usually shown as a percentage of what remains of your estate once all the debts, expenses and specific gifts are taken out.

1. If you want to leave specific gifts or bequests like jewellery, furniture, paintings, a house or land then you need to use a Specific Legacy.
