Chairman of Trustees David Overton MA MSc CEng MICE MIET MIHT Consultant Traffic Engineer David has worked in many countries of the world and explored different languages and cultures making contact with Christians in each of them. He has visited Russia with Alex and is now struggling to learn some Russian! David says: “I like the way Love Russia does business – practical, targeted, consistent help where it is truly needed”. He is married to Jill with four children and ten grandchildren	Trustee Robert Mason BA BD MSc Baptist Minister Previously the minister at Castlehold Baptist Church, Newport, Isle of Wight. He was for five years a missionary teacher in Zaire Studied the History of Russian Political Thought at London School of Economics. Robert says “I have a life-long interest and concern in the countries of the ex-Soviet Bloc. The opportunity that Love Russia now has to spread love to people who were for so many years in political isolation is unique”. He is married to Sandra with two grown-up daughters	Deputy Chairman Harry Walker BA (Hons) PGCE School Teacher Harry is a recently retired Assistant Headteacher from a Church of England Middle School on the Isle of Wight. He has visited Russia four times so far and enjoys being part of the summer camps. Harry says “The way the children respond is truly amazing” He now joins his wife Nicola, a part time teacher, as a volunteer helper in the busy Love Russia office. Harry and Nic have three grown up children

Trustee Ruth Byham Ruth joined the Love Russia team as its book-keeper in 1999 and became a trustee the following year. Ruth says “Seeing the way this work has grown over the years is heart-warming.” Ruth has now left Love Russia in an accounting role but remains as one of our Trustees. Ruth is married to Barry. They had two sons (one who sadly died in 1991) and they have a grandson.	Trustee Christopher Smith BDS Dental Surgeon Chris has been a dental practitioner for 40 years including nearly three years working for a mission in Kenya and Tanzania. He is married to Beverley. They have two children and a grandson.	Trustee Andrew Morgan BA (Hons), LLB, MA Andrew is a Partner of a firm of solicitors with offices in Portsmouth and the Isle of Wight. Andrew is married to Hilary and they have 3 young children. Andrew says of Love Russia “Love Russia is focused on meeting head on the bleakness of nagging despair faced by those that have nothing, to transform discord into hope so as to ensure that the disadvantaged of today have a future tomorrow
